Thursday night I received a big old kick in the shorts.
We went and visited Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. We went to a wing that has the children with Leukemia & Lymphoma. The kids ranged in age from 6 months to 18 years.
I have never seen such bravery as these kids and the treatments that they are currently going through. There were quite a few kids that were so upbeat you would not have guessed how sick they were and that they were in the hospital.
We took coloring & activity books, stickers, word searches, sudoku, CDs, & DVDs for the kids to have.
I now do not have any excuse for the days when I do not feel like training. I will just have to think of the amazing kids that I met last night and remember how brave they are for what they are facing.
